1: Rio Grande do Sul flag. 150 years ago the state of RS wanted the independence from Brasil, the revolution flag was the 3 stripes in green, red and yellow. Green and yellow represent Brasil and red represents the Revolution dividing the country. The war is over, RS loose to Brasil and now is just one of the 23 states of the country but the flag still the same.
